What Is Vitamin Pop By Vi?: Vodafone Idea Content Creation Strategy

While scrolling through Instagram the other day, I came across this stunning creator talking about movies and pop culture stuff. At first, I was just hooked because of her vibe and the way she reviews films and all that fluff we love. But then I noticed something odd – the channel name was "Vitamin Pop." Weird name, right? What even is Vitamin Pop?

Then I looked closer at the logo, and boom – it's clearly tied to Vodafone Idea! The "V" in Vitamin Pop stands for Vi (Vodafone Idea). To confirm, I checked the Instagram bio, and there was a direct link to Vi Movies & TV, their streaming service. Same thing on their YouTube channel – links straight to Vi Movies & TV.

They even collaborated on a Stranger Things event, setting up a booth in a Mumbai mall where this creator was promoting Vi. So, what's Vi up to here?

Basically, Vi is quietly building their own content creator ecosystem focused on pop culture and entertainment. They've launched these media channels like Vitamin Pop, which aren't directly branded as Vi, but everything subtly points back to their streaming app, Vi Movies & TV.

If you haven't opened the Vi Movies & TV app in a while, do it now – it's actually pretty solid! Great interface, multiple profiles, custom watchlists, and tons of content. Sure, competitors like Airtel and Jio have broader OTT partnerships, but Vi holds its own, especially with bundled plans and pricing.

The smart part? Vitamin Pop talks about *any* movies, even ones not on Vi's platform. No direct promotion of Vi plans or services in the content. It's pure entertainment – movie reviews, pop culture chats, all delivered in an engaging way with good edits and, let's be honest, a charismatic host.

And the growth? It's organic – no heavy ads from Vi pushing it. The channel is building a real audience on its own. Vi's long-term play here is clear: create a loyal fanbase around entertainment and pop culture, then funnel them towards Vi Movies & TV for streaming, future collaborations (like with Netflix or Amazon Prime – Vi already does some bold tie-ups that even Jio and Airtel skip), and entertainment-focused recharge plans.

They've done stuff like that Stranger Things mall activation, which others didn't. Vi is targeting entertainment lovers who need OTT access and unlimited data – basically saying, "Port to us, we'll hook you up with the best benefits."

Honestly, Vitamin Pop has cracked the formula: solid editing, fun and quirky commentary, and great on-screen presence. If you're into movies and pop culture, go follow them – the content is genuinely good!
